Nostra Signora di Guadalupe a Monte Mario is a modern parish and titular church at Piazza Nostra Signora di Guadalupe 12 in the Della Vittoria district.
It was completed in 1932 as the church for a convent of nuns, the “Daughters of Mary Immaculate of Guadalupe”. This was a Mexican religious congregation, hence the dedication refers to a famous Marian shrine outside Mexico City. However, the project failed and the congregation sold the church to the diocese of Rome which erected it as a parish church in 1936. It is also a national church of Mexico .
It is a single-nave building with a three-sided apse, located away from the street. The gabled façade is in red brick with stone trim, and has a pair of Doric pilasters inserted into its corners. These only support two arches outlined in stone, the other ends of which are on the edges of the segmental pediment over the entrance. Thus, a three-arch effect is produced. Over the entrance is a wheel window, extending into the gable.
Over the superbly carved white marble main altar is a venerated icon of Our Lady of Guadalupe , which had originally been donated to Pope Leo XIII.
