HistoryEdit

The first church here was dedicated to the Saviour, and is mentioned in a document from 1174.

Pope Gregory XIII (1572-1585) granted it to the Polish Cardinal Stanislaus Hosius. He had it rebuilt and rededicated to St Stanislaus.

It was completely rebuilt in 1753.

ExteriorEdit

A hospice is attached to the church.

Special notesEdit

Masses are celebrated in polish.
