Santa Margherita-Maria Alacoque in Tor Vergata is a modern parish church with a postal address at Via Antonio Carpenè 41 in the suburb of Tor Vergata, to the east of the city and south of the Via Casilina in the district of Torrenova. (The diocesan web-page still has the old address of Via Michele Pantanella 5; the church itself is up a long driveway from this street.) This area is regarded as part of the University campus.

The patron saint is Margaret Mary Alacoque.

The permanent church was completed in 2008, in a Minimalist style. It is a large pale duck-egg blue rectangular box with a pitched roof in white containing two large skylights at the ridge, following the pitch. On the left, at an angle, is a large subsidiary building which is a wedge pointing vertically, made entirely of glass panels.
