Santa Maria Madre della Provvidenza a Monte Verde is a modern parish and titular church at Via di Donna Olimpia 35, near the Villa Doria Pamphilj in the Gianicolense district. Picture of the church at Wikimedia Commons
It was designed by Tullio Rossi, and completed in 1937 with a nave having two aisles and an integral segmental apse. The exterior is rendered in dull pink. There is an external entrance loggia with a sloping roof and four archways, the square pillars of which are in white. Above the loggia the gabled roof has a porthole window and no other decoration. There is a short campanile next to the right aisle, with large vertical rectangular bell-openings.
The interior is entirely covered with frescoes by Cupelloni Hyginus, notable among which is the one in the apse depicting Our Lady in glory being venerated by angels, in an attractively and slightly naïve naturalistic style. The nave pillars are square, in green marble.
