Santa Maria Regina della Pace a Tor Vergata is a modern parish church at Via di Tor Vergata 309 in Tor Vergata, south of the Diramazione Roma Sud and the University campus.

This church is in the municipality of Rome, but belongs to the diocese of Frascati.

The parish website refers to it a a Piccolo paradiso nel deserto di Tor Vergata or "Little paradise in the desert of Tor Vergata", a gentle reminder that this is one of Rome's suburbs that is not pretty.

The church was built in 2003, a low octagonal building with a white tented roof forming a cone in the middle with a truncated tip. This roof is not structurally part of the main edifice, but actually sits just above it. It has overhanging eaves, and the side over the entrance has its outer edges curved down to form a frame for the way in. See the photo on the parish website, which makes clear the form of this interesting architectural novelty. The exterior walls of the church are panelled in varnished vertical wood planks (very unusual for Rome), and have a large rectangular window on each face.
