Santa Maria della Consolazione a Tre Pini Poggio dei Fiori is a modern parish church at Via Aldo della Rocca 6, which is in the suburb with the odd name of Tre Pini Poggio dei Fiori in the Tor de' Cenci district. This is just east of the Via Cristoforo Colombo, and south of the Circonvallazione Meridionale. Picture of the church on Wikimedia commons. [1]

The parish is administered by the Augustinian Recollects, and the dedication is to the Blessed Virgin Mary under her title of Our Lady of Consolation. The order has a special devotion to her under that title.

The church was completed in 1983, on a square plan. The rather small edifice has low walls and is dominated by its green pyramidal roof, which is decorated with seven nested triangles on each side made from applied metal strips. The entrance façade is entirely in glass, in two horizontal zones. Below are the doors, with their glass strengthened by vertical bars. Above is a large horizontal rectangular window taking up almost the width of the church. The low glazed entrance loggia is flanked by two protruding brick pylons with flat roofs, each containing a side entrance. The doors of these two entrances are again in glass, with vertical bars.

The roof is topped by a tall cross made of thin metal rods, and similar crosses are on the two back corners of the church.
